The project at Ulleswater Road involved a fairly large rear extension to a Edwardian semi-detached house; insulation to the suspended timber floors; replacing the existing windows with triple glazed units (to the back, the front we weren't allowed to as it's in a conservation area); and going over an above the minimum requirements of the building regulations for the new elements. The existing gas boiler was removed and a heat pump installed to provide heating and hot water.
